- Unsettled weather pattern looks to bring chances for rain
through the end of the week.

.DISCUSSION...

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Upper level ridging continues to build over the west coast and is
pushing into western Montana. This afternoon a weak frontal
passage brings a low end opportunity for a light, passing rain
shower.

On Monday the upper level ridge remains over western Montana.
This will bring warm temperatures with dry weather to the area on
through the day on Tuesday. By Tuesday night a surface low will
drop south into along the international border across eastern
Montana and North Dakota followed by a Canadian cold front
Wednesday morning. How much precipitation we`ll see from this
frontal passage is still very uncertain. Additional waves will
keep PoPs elevated through the weekend.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
Lowered RH slightly tomorrow and Monday, blended 33% NBM90 for day
1-3 wind gusts.

High confidence in winds meeting Lake Wind Advisory criteria.

Moderate confidence in accumulating precipitation occurring with
the shortwave trough on Tuesday night into Wednesday.
