.DISCUSSION...
WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

The vertically stacked low over southern Alberta, SW Saskatchewan
and northern Montana will remain rotate through eastern Montana
today and tonight and move to Manitoba on Tuesday. A dry slot over
eastern Montana early this morning is expected to fill in with
convection during the day today as the upper low moves into the
area and diminish tonight as the low moves to the northeast. As
the low exits the forecast area tonight, gusty west winds will
develop with a Lake Wind Advisory likely for Fort Peck Lake on
Tuesday. There will be chances for more showers and thunderstorms
as shortwaves move through NE Montana around the upper low to the
NE.

A broad upper trough will remain in place over western Canada and
western US for the remainder of the week that will continue to
bring chances for showers and thunderstorms every day.
Temperatures will gradually warm through Friday.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:
Low confidence on timing any showers and thunderstorms over the
next few days. High confidence on the warmer temperatures as the
week progress. No deviations from the NBM at this time.
